Celebs Join Glam Africa Magazine For Its South African Launch With Bonang Matheba

Glam Africa magazine launched in Johannesburg last week with the latest edition of the magazine, The Social Media Issue, which features Bonang Matheba on the cover. The event took place at Fairlawns Hotel in Johannesburg, and the luxurious 5-star hotel played host to South African socialites and celebrities like Divas of Jozi, star Puleng Mash-Spies, actress Nambitha Mpumlwana as well as some of the celebrities previously featured in the magazine including South African Singer Lira, Dillish Mathews from Namibia, Zynnell Zuh and Irene Logan from Ghana. Backsberg Wine was also there to ensure these celebrity guests as well as representatives from LORIES, Revlon, DSTV, ZTE, SABC TV, US Consulate and others from the corporate world were treated to true made in South African wine.

The event also saw the launch of Glam Africa’s Portal, a platform on the publication’s website which doesn’t only allow visitors buy or subscribe to both digital and hard copy magazines from anywhere in the world through various payment methods including bank payment and mobile money, but also allowing anyone earn money automatically every time their friends, contacts, social media or blog followers purchase or subscribe to the magazine.

Glam Africa’s Country Manager, Peter Ukhurebor, addressed guests and spoke about the brand’s aim to tell Africa’s story to the world through the publication which already has operations in Nigeria, Ghana and the UK.
