The Blessing, the Blesser and the Blessed (1)

the blessing

You don't pray for blessing; instead, you provoke the blessing. If you will carry and walk in the blessing of God in life, the first thing you must do is to recognize your blesser. A blesser is someone who carries the power to release the blessing of God into your life.  He is a carrier of the covenants of God. He carries in him forces that you need to move on to the next level.  He is an activator of the eternal counsel of God.

Abraham knew his blesser and he responded to him correctly. Melchizedek did not give Abraham money or riches, but the lineage of Abraham has not recovered from the blessing that Melchizedek pronounced that day. One of the major prayers you must always pray to the Lord is that God will give you eyes that see and ears that hear.

The Bible says in Proverbs 20:12 that; 'The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them'. These are very critical, to recognize the carriers of the blessing when you meet them.  A blesser may not look attractive, just like Elijah the Tishbite (1Kings 1:1), he was a rugged mountaineer of the region of Gilead always wearing animal skin and eating only locust and wild honey. But, Elisha was an organized, sophisticated, wealthy, mechanized farmer. Elisha recognized as Elijah as his blesser and his destiny happened.

However, It is not just enough for you to recognize your blesser, you must follow him if you will become all that God has ordained you to become through him. When God asks you to follow a man, it is 'the blessing', that the man is carrying that God intends to transfer into your life.'

Prayer: Help me Lord to recognize the blesser you have ordained for me so I can connect to all you have placed on his life for me.
