Heart of Grace Foundation Present Charity Fund Raising Fashion Show!!!!
Heart of Grace Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization that focuses on better living for children will officially launch at BIijmer Park Theater in Amsterdam Saturday 22 June, 2013 with a fashion show.
The show will feature works of young and dynamic designers such as Luciana Grimaldi, Nanna Nilson, Ebenezer Akakpo and many more that in recent years have created waves in the fashion industry with evocative and innovative works that have received reviews in Project Runway, Vogue magazines, local magazines and journals in America, Europe, and other parts of the world. The designers will be showcasing designs from their recent collections by which one item from each designer will be placed on live auction during the cause of the show.
In addition a documentary would be screened as part of the launch to create the much needed awareness on how some schools in Ghana are struggling to provide the bare essentials needed for the pupils. The range is from uncomfortable classroom conditions, teaching under trees in some circumstances, the lack of water, electricity, desk, chairs, text books etc. Our research reveled well over hundreds of thousands of children in the rural parts of Ghana face such conditions. As a first step, Heart of grace Foundation is taking the initiative to tackle this problem one school at a time.
Beginning with Offadaa Methodist primary school located in the central region of Ghana.
