Is there not still a prophet of the LORD here?

I. My Beloved Sisters and Dear Brothers, grace be unto you through Christ Jesus’ name. And Jehoshaphat said, “Is there not still a prophet of the LORD here, that we may enquire of Him? Divine revelations are critical for development and spiritual growth. Beloved, we all need divine revelations from the man of God. Jehoshaphat acknowledges the need for consulting a prophet of God. Is there no one to offer you counselling? Seek counselling in the matter confronting you. As a leader, you need counsellors who will tell you the truth, sometimes against the tidings of the day. As a youth, you need a counsellor; as a couple, you need advisors; as an employee, as an employer, and as a minister of the Gospel, you cannot be successful without godly counsellors.

II. Mr Beloved Sisters, so the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “There is still one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the LORD; but I hate him because he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil.” And Jehoshaphat said, “Let not the king say such things!” Dear Sister, you need to consult a prophet, Micaiah, who will tell you the hard truth and not blemish the facts. Evil kings and men hate the truth. They dislike people who tell them the hard-core truth, but that should not stop you from telling the truth. Beloved, don't worry when some people hate you because you speak the truth. Surely, surely, I say unto you the truth which is light will overcome falsehood which is darkness. Stand for what is right, and don't sell your birthright for a pottage of a meal; it will lead you to destruction. Face the truth today, and it will set you free tomorrow.

III. Daughter of Zion, I encourage you to speak the truth today, and you will enlighten the path of someone tomorrow. Speak the truth, and it will open doors for you many days ahead. Dear brother, avoid paid prophets who will prophesy for the wages and not what God says. The king of Israel and Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, having put on their robes, sat each on his throne at a threshing floor at the entrance of the gate of Samaria, and all the prophets prophesied before them. As an advisor, don't give bandwagon counselling. Then the messenger who had gone to call Micaiah spoke to him, saying, “Now listen, the words of the prophets with one accord encourage the king. Please, let your word be like the word of one of them, and speak encouragement.” Beloved, speak what God says, not what the people expected from you. Follow God’s instructions and not the instructions of men. Stand out for the truth, and allow those who want to perish to follow falsehood.

IV. Son of man and Micaiah the Prophet replied, “As the LORD lives, whatever the LORD says to me, that I will speak.” Then he came to the king, and the king said to him, “Micaiah, shall we go to war against Ramoth Gilead, or shall we refrain?” And he answered him, “Go and prosper, for the LORD will deliver it into the hand of the king....” Then he said, “I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. And the LORD said, ‘These have no master. Let each return to his house in peace.” The prophet standing in front of two powerful kings at the time told them the word of God. Fear not, beloved, and face the truth. Be the standard at all times. Seek good counselling, and you shall sail through any troubled waters. This is DIVINE COUNSELLING sent forth through the Authority and Power of Christ Jesus and serves the Brethren through God's Vessel Francis Ameyibor, Yes! Listen to counsel and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter days.

V. 2025 MY YEAR FOR MY STAR TO RISE FOR THE WORLD TO NOTICE—Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

PRAYER: I pray that the eyes of our hearts may be enlightened this year in order that we may know the purposes and plans of God for us and enjoy the riches of his glorious inheritance through Christ Jesus’ name. AMEN
