I. SON OF MAN, are you still walking with Jesus Christ? Are you still with your first love? As we encounter daily blessings and sometimes obstacles, we are challenged to declare our position in Christ Jesus. However, the Lord has assured us that "I am with you always, to the very end of the age." This assurance must be a source of comfort and strength for us throughout life's ups and downs. However, as we reflect on this promise, we must ask ourselves a critical question: are we with Him? It is important to reflect on whether we are still with the Lord. Have life’s challenges pushed you far away from the Lord? Has money and power pushed you away from the Lord? Who is standing between you and your love for the Lord? Beloved, God has assured us that He will be with us always, but are we also confident and firm to be with Him always?
II. MY BELOVED SISTERS AND DEAR BROTHERS, Jesus Christ emphasizes the importance of abiding in Him. He charged us, Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. To abide in Christ means to cultivate a deep, intimate relationship with Him, characterized by trust, obedience, and surrender. To bear fruit, we must abide. To encounter miracles, we must abide. To be an overcomer, we must abide. When we choose to abide in Christ, we experience numerous benefits. Abiding in Christ brings spiritual renewal, revitalizing our relationship with Him and empowering us to live a life that honours Him. As we remain in Christ, we become fruitful branches, bearing fruit that glorifies God and advances His Kingdom. When we are with Him, we enjoy the protection and guidance of our Heavenly Father, who shields us from harm and directs us on the path of righteousness.
III. DAUGHTER OF ZION, when we fail to abide in Christ, we risk facing numerous consequences. Without a vibrant relationship with Christ, our spiritual lives can become dry and barren, leaving us vulnerable to the temptations of the world. As Jesus warned, branches that do not remain in the vine cannot bear fruit. When we are not with Him, we cannot fulfil our purpose of bearing fruit for the Kingdom. When we distance ourselves from Christ, we become more susceptible to the temptations of the enemy, leading to sin and spiritual stagnation. As we reflect on Jesus' promise to be with us always, let us examine our own hearts and lives. Are we with Him? Are we cultivating a deep, intimate relationship with Christ, characterized by trust, obedience, and surrender?
IV. PRECIOUS IN THE LORD, let us heed the call to abide in Christ, to remain in Him, and to bear fruit for the Kingdom. I pray that God will continue to empower us on this pilgrimage through the power of the Holy Spirit to live a life that honours Him. Jesus Christ's promise to be with us always is a profound assurance that brings comfort and strength to believers. However, we must ask ourselves the critical question: Are we with Him? Let us strive to cultivate a deep, intimate relationship with Christ, characterized by trust, obedience, and surrender. This is the DIVINE WORD OF assurance sent forth through the Authority of Christ Jesus and served to the brethren through God's Vessel Francis Ameyibor. Yes! May we be with Him always, bearing fruit for the Kingdom and glorifying our Heavenly Father.
V. 2025 MY YEAR FOR MY STAR TO RISE FOR THE WORLD TO NOTICE—I surrender, Lord, I give myself to thee; fill me with your love and power.
PRAYER: LORD, I surrender all to thee; let your will be done in my life, through Christ Jesus name I pray AMEN.
