Fight a good fight

i. Beloved brethren in the Lord, grace be multiplied unto you. As the days begin to develop into weeks and months, this command I entrust to you, Timothy, my son, in accordance with the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you fight the good fight, keeping faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and suffered shipwreck in regard to their faith. Beloved, as soldiers of the Lord, we must not forget that we are engaged in a spiritual battle that requires courage, perseverance, and faith. The challenges and difficulties you are going through are also forms of the spiritual battles. We must, therefore, not be engaging in physical warfare to overcome those challenges and difficulties. The apostle Paul, in his letter to Timothy, emphasizes the importance of fighting a good fight, one that is characterized by faith, a good conscience, and a commitment to the truth.

ii. Son of God, remember that as believers, we are not fighting a physical battle alone but a spiritual one. Sometimes, the enemy tries to change the battle game and plan by distracting us with other issues from the main problem. Sometimes the enemy even offers us small victories, which we celebrate and forget about divine victories. Other times too, the enemy offers temporal solutions, which deter us from seeking the permanent solution. Remember, my brother, our enemy is not flesh and blood, but rather the forces of darkness, led by Satan himself. He sometimes also uses people around us as weapons and tools for the battle. The enemy is canny; therefore, let us not forget that the battle we waged in the realm of the spirit and its outcome will determine the course of our lives and the lives of those around us.

iii. Daughter of Zion, as soldiers of the Lord, we have a clear mandate to stand firm. We are called to stand firm in our faith, unwavering in our commitment to the truth. We are mandated to fight the good fight. We are to engage in the spiritual battle, using the weapons of our warfare, such as prayer, fasting, and the Word of God. And we are authorised to hold fast to faith and a good conscience. We are to maintain a clear conscience and a strong faith, refusing to compromise our values and principles. Beloved, faith and a good conscience are essential components of our spiritual armour. Our faith is the foundation of our spiritual lives, enabling us to trust in God's promises and provision, while a clear conscience gives us confidence before God, allowing us to approach Him with boldness and assurance.

iv. My Beloved Sisters and Dear Brothers, to , we must put on the whole armour of God. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Let us engage regularly in prayer, fasting, and Bible study, which will strengthen our faith and equip us for the battle. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. This is the DIVINE Word to strengthen us sent forth through the Authority and power of Christ Jesus and serves to the brethren through God's Vessel Francis Ameyibor, Yes! V. 2025 MY YEAR FOR MY STAR TO RISE FOR THE WORLD TO NOTICE— Together, let us march into the spiritual battle, confident in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

PRAYER: May we be empowered by the Holy Spirit to stand firm, to fight the good fight, and to hold fast to our faith and a good conscience, through the power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
