Arise, Oh God, and Fight for us

I. Beloved in the Lord, as we begin another journey in another month, I encourage you to join the Psalmist to proclaim let God arise. We need God to rise up in our situation as we cross the eleventh month and get ready to end the year and crossover to another year. You need God to rise in your case, for that is the only way you can attain victory. Beloved, when God rises up, His enemies will scatter. In this eleventh month, if you allow God to take the preeminent in your life, your enemies, be they physical or spiritual, will scatter. Who can stand in the face of the God, the Omnipotent one? Who can defeat us when God the Omnipotent is on our side? Who can judge us when the Omniscient God is with us? And who can destroy us when the Omnipresent God is right with us? Beloved, this eleventh month, let us allow God to take control.

II. Daughter of Zion, when the omnipotent God is in control, also those who hate us will flee. This month God will blow away our enemies like the smoke in the midst of strong winds. God will deal with our enemies as wax melts before the fire. And this month the wick who seeks to torment us will perish for our God has taken over the battlefield. This month, let us daily proclaim, “Arise, Oh God! Which is a recognition of God’s sovereignty over our lives and our affairs. It is also a call to God's mighty intervention for the day. Let us also plead for His glory to shine forth in our lives. Arise, Oh God! Our enemies will scatter always, and the truth will prevail. Let us seek God’s truth, not the ways of men. Let us walk with God daily and acknowledge His sovereign power over our affairs. Lord, arise as we surrender to your will this month. Lord! Arise and heal us. Lord! Arise to provide for us. Lord! Arise and give us victory.

III. Son of Man, you have crossed into the eleventh month; don’t give up. Fighting for victory is around the corner. Brother, stand firm on the foundations of our Lord Jesus Christ. We need God’s assurance that he will not forsake us at this eleventh-hour mark. God will restore and see us through. Even though the battle seems against us. Even though our enemies have weapons, power, and resources more than us, we are fighting under the banner of Jesus Christ. Firmly let us march on, holding forth the truth. We can only win the battle with the weapon of truth. It is the truth that will set us free and give us victory. Who is on the Lord’s side? Let him or her stand for the truth. Firmly, let us stand. This month be led under the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have no other commander to take orders from. For we are approved workmen who are not ashamed to proclaim the name of Jesus Christ wherever we go.

IV. My Beloved Sisters and Dear Brothers in the Lord, this month, let us hail the name of Jesus Christ as we march on for victory. Let us hold forth the truth in the face of fake news, misinformation, and disinformation. Let us build lives on the word of God no matter what the world we say; let us transform our world through the word of God. This is a DIVINE MESSAGE OF ENCOURAGEMENT offered through the authority and power of Christ Jesus and served to you through God’s Vessel Francis Ameyibor, Yes! Let us move on with steps unfaltering, love unaltering, and let us sing His praise. Let us face the day recognizing that His banner is over us, and let us fight victoriously for Christ our King.

V. 2024 MY YEAR TO ENCOUNTER THE DIVINE POWER OF GOD – With Christ Jesus in the vessel, let us smile at the storms of this month. Let us join hearts and voices to cry out, "Arise, Oh God!

PRAYER: May our prayer ignite a revival of your presence, power, and glory in our midst, oh Lord. May our lives be transformed, and your name be exalted through Christ Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
