Lord, Order My Steps

I. Son of Man, grace be unto you and your household. Beloved, as we journey through life, I know as human beings you might have faced numerous challenges and uncertainties. Sometimes the path we embark on might not be clear, and we may stumble upon obstacles that test our faith. I encourage you to reach out to the Lord. In such moments, let us cry out to God for guidance and protection. Lord, order our steps so that we may not slip and disgrace your name. Sometimes, we might be on the right path but will be feeling lonely and rejected by men, so we need God’s assurance to strengthen us on the journey. As a believer, it is important to allow God to direct your steps. Let Him establish your steps and uphold you, then you are sure of getting to the destination.

II. Daughter of Zion, remember that the steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way. God is interested in whatever we do, so we must be careful as our marker is watching. Though you fall because God is watching you, he will lift you up again. God will not allow you to be utterly cast down. The LORD will uphold you with his hand. Why are you then afraid when you are in the hands of Jehovah? Why are you sitting on the floor because you slipped? Look up, and you will see God’s right hand extended to lift you up. Are you ready to allow Him to lift you up again? Are you ready to surrender your fears and depend on him once again? Delight yourself in the Lord, and he shall order your steps always. It is important to daily seek his guidance and empowerment for the daily task. I have been young, and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.

III. My Beloved Sisters and Dear Brothers, great peace as those who love the law of the Lord, and nothing can cause them to stumble. Obeying and walking according to God’s ways and laws will protect us from falling. Obedience to the law will prevent you from falling into temptations. We slip when we fail to follow God’s orders. We are disgraced when we take our own path and reject God’s directions and instructions. Disobedience can also cause us to stumble and fall away from God's path. Lord, direct my steps by your word and let no iniquity have dominion over me. Prayer helps us stay on the path of righteousness. It keeps us from slipping and falling.

IV. Beloved in the Lord Jesus Christ, let us trust in God's sovereignty. As we move towards the end of another year and crossover to another one, let us always remember that a man’s heart plans his way, but it is the LORD who will direct his steps. It is not about what we are planning, but what is God’s purpose and plan for us. Let us walk according to God’s plans for our lives. Lord, order our steps. This is a DIVINE WORD OF WISDOM sent forth through the Authority and Power of Christ Jesus and serving to the brethren through God's Vessel Francis Ameyibor, Yes! God will not let our foot slip. He is our keeper and protector.

V. 2024 MY YEAR TO ENCOUNTER DIVINE BREAKTHROUGH – Lord, order my steps so that I may not slip and disgrace Your name.

PRAYER: May we trust in His guidance, sovereignty, and protection. May our steps be ordered by Him, and may we walk in righteousness and faith. Amen.
