LORD! Comfort us in this world of uncertainties

Religion & Spirituality LORD! Comfort us in this world of uncertainties
MON, 12 AUG 2024 LISTEN

I. Dearly beloved in the Lord, amid a world filled with uncertainty, pain, and sorrow, we come from different walks of life, we are carrying our burdens, our heartaches, and our fears. But as a vessel of God, I stand together with you, irrespective of the problems or challenges you are going through. Irrespective of the burden you are carrying, declare that you are not alone. We have a Heavenly Father who comforts us, a God who sees us, and a God who heals us. Even though at this moment it seems that you are walking through the darkest valley, fear no evil, for God is with you. Scripture encourages us that, with his rod and staff, God will continue to comfort us. These words are a powerful reminder that our God is a God of comfort. You need God’s comfort now more than ever.

II. Son of Man, when we cry out, "Lord, comfort me," we are acknowledging that we are not self-sufficient. We need God. We need His embrace. We need His peace. It is okay to cry out to God, yes! Let those tears flow. Yes! The burden is heavy, and you cannot carry it. But let me assure you that, despite the dark environment, God is comforting you through His presence. God is right there with you in the midst of it. Jesus Christ assured us that “I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” God is with us always; we are not alone. God will continue to comfort us through His Word. God’s promise preserves our lives; it comforts us in times of trouble. Today, I recommend to you that you go back to the Bible, which serves as our source of comfort, guidance, and strength.

III. Daughter of Zion, God is also comforting you through the people he sent your way. Don’t carry your burden alone. Share your pain with trusted friends. Look for a faithful shoulder to lean on and weep. God has mandated us to carry each other's burdens, and in this way, we will fulfill the law of Christ. Today, remember that you were also called to be agents of comfort to one another. As we journey through this difficult road, may the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. It is not easy, but as we seek comfort from God, let us remember that He is our Shepherd, guiding us through the darkest valleys. He is our Rock, our Refuge, and our Savior. He is our Father, loving us with everlasting love. When we cry out, "Lord, comfort me," we are not asking for a temporary fix or a quick solution. We are asking for a deep, transformative encounter with the living God.

IV. My Beloved Sisters and Brothers in the Lord, remember that as followers of Christ, we are not immune to these threats, difficulties, pain, burdens, and challenges. We therefore need to be sober and vigilant at all times. In fact, as Peter warns us, we have an adversary who seeks to devour us. Don’t forget people who are working against your interests. Some are closer to you, working with you as friends, but inwardly they are your enemies. Be vigilant. But fear not! for we have been equipped with the armour of God and the promise of His presence. Today, I urge you to remain vigilant at all times for the sake of your spiritual and physical well-being, and the advancement of God's kingdom in the world we live in is becoming more dangerous each day. This is a DIVINE PROPHETIC DECLARATION sent forth through the Authority and Power of Christ Jesus and served to the brethren through God's Vessel Francis Ameyibor, Yes! May God's comfort be your portion today. May His peace be your guide. May His presence be your strength.

V. 2024 MY YEAR TO ENCOUNTER DIVINE BREAKTHROUGH – May His guidance and protection be upon us, and may we be empowered to resist the adversary and stand firm in our faith.

PRAYER: Lord, we come to you in our brokenness, our pain, and our fear. Comfort us, O Lord. Wrap your loving arms around us. Speak your truth into our hearts. Help us to trust in Your goodness and Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen
