Speak Life, Not Death; Truth, Not Lies

Speak Life, Not Death; Truth, Not Lies
LISTEN

I. Son of Man, grace be unto you and your household. In today's world, we face numerous challenges that threaten our faith, our families, and our very lives. As followers of Christ, we are not immune to these threats. In fact, as Peter warns us, we have an adversary who seeks to devour us. But fear not! We have been equipped with the armour of God and the promise of His presence. Today, I urge you to remain vigilant at all times, for the sake of your spiritual well-being and the advancement of God's kingdom. It is time to be sober and vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Don’t allow yourself to be used by the evil forces around you, whether at your office, within your family, or in your community. Resist them, steadfast in the faith.

II. Daughter of Zion, be vigilant, for our adversary is cunning and relentless, seeking to exploit any weakness. Remember at all times that the world is full of distractions, leading us away from our focus on God and our target in life. Watch against complacency and apathy, as they are weapons used by the enemy to get us off track, to make us vulnerable, and then they will launch an attack on us. Guard against negative patterns and worldly influences. Speak life, not death; truth, not lies. Walk in integrity, compassion, and love. Nurture those that edify, and distance yourself from those that corrupt. Watch against spiritual stagnation and decline, as it will make you vulnerable to temptation and sin. Be careful not to miss an opportunity due to your lack of watchfulness and attention to details.

III. My Beloved Sisters and Dear Brothers in the Lord, being vigilant will lead to spiritual growth and maturity and protect you from the enemy's schemes. You will see the evil acts of the enemy before they attack you. Being vigilant will transform your perspective on issues, enhance your broader understanding of the world around you, and give you the power to confront things and ignore those that are not relevant. Being vigilant will help you not engage in wasteful ventures, associations, and engagements. Being vigilant will help you focus on the main task. Therefore, beloved, set aside time for prayer and meditation. Study God's Word and apply its truths. Practice self-control and discipline.

IV. Brethren in the Lord, the call to vigilance is not a call to fear but a call to faith. Therefore, to day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. It is dangerous to be stiff-necked. The Bible warns us against stubbornness, pride, and rebellion. It served as the background for our downfall. Let us now guide ourselves against the dangers of a rebellious way of life. Let us examine the risks of stiffness and the rewards of humility and surrender. This is a DIVINE WORD TO STRENGTHEN THE BRETHREN offered through the authority and power of Christ Jesus and serve the brothers through God's Vessel Francis Ameyibor, Yes! Stiff-neckedness invites God's discipline, which, though painful, is meant to correct and restore us.

V. 2024 MY YEAR TO ENCOUNTER DIVINE BREAKTHROUGH - Then God remembered Rachel; he listened to her and enabled her to conceive. She became pregnant and gave birth to a son, and said, “God has taken away my disgrace.” She named him Joseph and said, “May the LORD add to me another son.”

PRAYER: Contend, O LORD, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me. Lord I plea that take hold of thy shield and thy buckler, and stand up for my help this hour through Christ Jesus’ name I pray Amen
