Do not be anxious about anything this quarter

I. DAUGHTER OF ZION, blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Do not be overwhelmed with fear as you walk with God. Indeed, their purpose was to cause fear in your spirit. It was to draw you away from your God. They had intended to shake your foundation, but fear not. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. AND THE PEACE OF GOD, WHICH TRANSCENDS ALL UNDERSTANDING, WILL GUARD YOUR HEARTS AND YOUR MINDS IN CHRIST JESUS.

II. BRETHREN IN CHRIST anxiety is a universal human experience, so do not consider what you are going through as personal. Remember that anxiety is a natural response to uncertainty, but it can consume us if we let it. We worry about our lives, our loved ones, and our future. Paul's letter to the Philippians offers a radical solution: "Do not be anxious about anything." Instead of worrying, we are called to pray and present our requests to God with thanksgiving. And the peace of God, which surpasses human understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Believed, prayer is a powerful tool against anxiety, as it acknowledges our dependence on God, while thanksgiving shifts our focus from our problems to God's goodness and provision. Believed, shift the focus from the problems to God, who has the ability and power to deliver you from the causes of the anxiety.

III. SON OF MAN, why are you in despair? Have you forgotten your God, who has brought you this far? Why are you in a state of agitation and restlessness? The LORD, who granted you permission to enter that land, will provide for you. And why is your spirit disturbed within you? Today Jesus Christ is asking you, "Why are you afraid? How is it that ye have no faith? Why are you walking as if you have no one to help you? Why have you accepted the negative report that you are not able to? Why are you doubting the power of God? Child of God, never give up because of the enchantment of Balaks, present your case before JEHOVAH, and the God who answers by fire will speak on your behalf. Don't give up your faith because you see a Balak with men and women of power plotting evil against you. The peace of God is not the absence of troubles but a deep-seated calm amidst them. This peace guards our hearts and minds, protecting us from the debilitating effects of anxiety.

IV. MY DEAR SISTERS AND BROTHERS IN CHRIST let us commit to praying and giving thanks in every situation, trusting in God's sovereignty and love. As we do, the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. May we experience the freedom and joy that come from casting our anxieties on Him. I cried to Him with my mouth, and He was extolled with my tongue. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear. But certainly, God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer or His mercy from me! Therefore, I will be strong and courageous. I will not be terrified or discouraged, for the Lord, my God, will be with me wherever I go. This is a DIVINE WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT AND FOOD FOR THE SOUL sent forth through the authority and power of Christ Jesus to serve the brethren through God's Vessel Francis Ameyibor, Yes! Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

V. 2024 MY YEAR TO STAND ON THE PROMISES OF GOD: My God shall supply all my needs; therefore, I will not be in need.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, we confess that we often try to carry our burdens alone, worrying about our lives, our loved ones, and our futures. Forgive us for not bringing our anxieties to you sooner. We commit to praying and giving thanks in every situation, trusting in your sovereignty and love.

Lord, grant us your peace, which transcends all understanding, to guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Help us to rest in your presence, knowing that you are always with us. We pray this in Jesus Christ's name, Amen!
