Mahama Campaign Team congratulates Professor Richard Kofi Asiedu for being Honoured with doctorate degree

The Central Regional Campaign Team for John Mahama congratulates the Central Regional Chairman of the NDC, Professor Richard Kofi Asiedu, for being honored by Azteca University, a Mexican state funded university, with a doctoral degree in recognition of his contribution to education in Ghana.

This is a well-deserved award worthy of celebrating.

Professor Richard Kofi Asiedu is an educational entrepreneur who has founded several schools, including the ever-growing and ever-popular St. Andrews SHS, which has branches all over the country.

The Azteca University awards Honorary Doctorate Degrees to individuals who have sufficient stature and recognition to ensure that the awarding of an honorary degree enhances the reputation of Azteca University. To be eligible for this award, the candidate's character and conduct should reflect the fundamental principles for which Azteca University was established. Usually, considerations are given to candidates who have achieved eminence in scholarship or rendered distinguished contributions in their fields of endeavors.

The Azteca University Honors committee in awarding Professor Richard Kofi Asiedu considered his years of educational entrepreneurial achievements, and his consistency in building the human resources base of the country that has resulted in thousands of the citizens of Ghana attaining excellence in their fields of endeavor.
