Tahiru Lukman Graduates with Mphil Environment and Resource Management

The 23rd congregation of the University for Development Studies had some noticeable personalities bagging various academic acolytes. A prolific writer, youth activists cum development consultant Tahiru Lukman [Prof] was part of the 23^rd special graduation ceremony. He graduated with a Master of Philosophy (Mphil) Environment and Resource Management.

He has expressed his atmost gratitude to Almighty Allah for his abundance grace throughout his life. His special gratitude goes to some distinguished personalities including Dr. Abdul Yahya Kadri, Head of Department of Environment and Resource Management of SDD-UBIDS who has since become a mentor and a father figure. He equally acknowledged Mr. Gordon Tuu the project supervisor for contributing to ensuring the day is a reality. He particularly acknowledged prof. Peprah and Prof. Osuman Kanton and Dr. Amosah Jonah for urging him to work hard.

Mr. Tahiru Lukman further showered praises to his former Boss and Executive Director of Community Development Alliance (CDA- Ghana) Mr. Issifu Salifu Kanton and Programs Manager Mr. Bipuah Sulemani for supporting him to acquire this Mphil degree.

Again, he did not missed out in acknowledging the contributions of all the Lecturers and administrative staff of the Department of Environment and Resource Management of SDD-UBIDS. He was also thankful to Mr. and Mrs Peter, Dr. Boasu Bismark, Madam Millicent Zuri, Mr. Ernerst Dabil Nabwomya, Mr. Halidu Abdul Jamil and Mr. Abdul Rahaman Osman for their contributions and support.

His lengthy list of Appreciation was crowned with the mentioned of his family and late father who challenged him to pursue for academic excellence.

Mr. Tahiru Lukman holds Certificate Environmental Health and Sanitation from the Ghana Health Examination Board (GHEB), and the West African Examination Board (WAHEB); He had earlier obtained Bachelor of Art (BA) degree in Integrated Community Development from the University for Development Studies.

He has worked as a civil servant and now a development consultant. Mr. Tahiru is also the founder and Executive Director of Ideapath Consult, an entity specialised in proposal development, research, training and data management & analysis.
