JSA Presents The Young Change Makers Show

Junior Shapers Africa; The raising boys right and behaviour change advocacy organization is highly pleased to present The JSA Young Change Makers Show for both boys and girls.

The maiden YouTube Channel Show is intended to showcase creativity, life skills, responsible behaviour, and problem-solving skills under the theme; 'Solve it with your hands'. JSA will be keeping our young children busy and engaged as we await the eradication of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

According to Mrs. Ethel Marfo the founding Director of Junior Shapers Africa, there are lots of children currently consumed with gadgets and screens in our various homes during this lockdown. "We would like to use the opportunity to introduce this unique extracurricular activity to assist them to pursue a self-discovery journey through Life Skills, Agri-Skills and Waste Management Skills.

The home is the first point for education for every child and with the help and supervision of parents currently at home, JSA is poised to make the best use of this lockdown period by engaging our future leaders in a variety of life skills in the coming weeks".

ABOUT OUR WEEKLY PROJECTS

The show is in its second week. Previous projects submitted by JSA Young Change Makers between the ages of 4-12 years include special recipes invented by them and an activity on Plastic Waste Management to educate and change behaviour. This week they will be involved in a gardening activity.

Every week JSA will publish an activity for our young change Makers to undertake which will be supervised and recorded by parents and sent to JSA to be featured on the show. The Executive Council of JSA will judge and give remarks to encourage each participant.

All entries will be compiled and featured every Sunday evening on our YouTube channel and also shared on our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram).

Participating in this will enable your child to develop and build their confidence, presentation skills, communication skills, organisational skills, personal branding skills, problem-solving skills, leadership skills, and critical thinking skills through our weekly activities which will come in handy for them in future.

THE JSA YOUNG CHANGE MAKERS EXPO 2020

This weekly YouTube Shows will be a preview for our JSA Young Change Makers Expo which is scheduled to come off after the eradication of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Expo will be an exhibition show for our youngsters to create and display their best work from scratch. They will also share the inspiration behind their work and judges will be on board to judge and award prizes for outstanding work after which the items will be auctioned to support the educational goals of participants.

It's our hope that these insightful activities will strengthen the bond between parents and their kids as they supervise and guide them.
