The Gardener, Vine, And Branches 2 ("I AM")

Memory verse: John 15:1 NIV
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener."

Before the coming to the Lord Jesus into this world, the title "I AM" is set aside for the Almighty God. This concept came to light when Moses was called to convey the people of Isreal into the Promised Land. Here, Moses said to God, ''suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, "The God of your fathers has sent me to you," and they ask me, "What is his name?" Then what shall I tell them?”

God replied to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: "I AM has sent me to you."' Exodus 3:13-14 NIV

In the passage above, God alluded to Himself as I AM. So to the Jew, only God is I AM.

Jesus is indeed God because, throughout His ministry on this earth, he categorically called Himself I AM on several instances. I AM the good shepherd, I AM the way, I AM the true vine, etc.

The comprehension of this heavenly truth is basic for our walk with God. Since I believed and accepted Jesus Christ in my life, I was deliberately positioned to enjoy divine overflows throughout my life and destiny. The numerous purported pioneers of different religions would never make such cases about themselves, just Jesus Christ of Nazareth did. So with this understanding, we will continue to explore the role of this spiritual truth topic: The Gardener, Vine, and Branches 2("I AM").
