Recipe; Tasty Crispy Pork Crackling

Ingredients

  • 1kg Pork rind
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Ground Cayenne Pepper
  • Olive oil

Method

  1. Clean and scrape off any loose hairs on the pork skin.
  2. Dry skin with a kitchen paper
  3. Score the skin using a sharp knife.
  4. Sprinkle salt and cayenne pepper onto skin.
  5. Roast at Gas Mark 4 for 45-50mins in a roasting pan.
  6. Tap the skin to check for crackling sound.
  7. Allow to rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Cut up into bits and enjoy
