Instead of spending so much time and effort teaching girls/women how to avoid rape...

Can we focus more on teaching boys/men not to rape?

Seems like the more prudent approach to me...

Without rapists... There will be no rape.
How about we spend all that time and resources teaching boys about:-

Respecting a woman's right to her body
Consent
Self worth
Dignity
Empathy
Equality
Simple human decency
Entitlement and where it starts and ends
Physical discipline
Drugs and intoxication
Relationships and partnerships
Understanding their bodies and their urges and how to control it.

The fact that they are not owed anything by any woman by default

And most importantly... Minding their own business.... Very key to this campaign.

Currently it seems the raped are talked to more than the rapists.

Doesn't make any sense to me.
Men are not fixed constants.. but that's how we have been treating it for a long time...

The approach has been.....
The men will rape no matter what we do.. so let's see how we can get the girls to protect themselves and avoid being raped.

This is great.. but men are not born animals...
Society... orientation... and training accounts for the average person's behavior and world view.

Let's reorient the boys... Let them know the responsibilities they have and how to go about life without thinking that they are auto assigned anything aside what they have earned.

False entitlement is a thing... But it's a thing that must die.
