I have lived with babies before; at one moment they want food, at the next they don't want it again. They don't seem to know what they want and parent always decide for them, whether they want or not.

But growing up, they begin to make decisions on their own, knowing what they want and what they don't.

Strange enough there people who claim they love you today, the next day they are out of love. They get back the next year yet with a different story.

They have succeeded in turning your emotions into a switch; they put it on when they want it and turn it off when they don’t want it. When asked why, they just they don't know.

Only babies don't know what they want. Emotional maturity is one of the requirements of relationships, one has to be decisive.

In the last two days, I met with a tertiary student who is a victim of such a relationship. She couldn't eat, sleep or study; just restless. As I listened I felt her pain, such a beautiful heart going through so much pain.

Heart break is not a joke. I may prefer to rather be physically hurt than emotionally. If I hurt my leg, I can put a band-aid on it but I can't do same for the heart.

If you have walked so long with someone and had to come back alone, or you have lived your life solely for someone, built your dreams around them, and they are nowhere to be found; you will understand me.

Losing someone you love is the hardest thing you could go through, and no matter how much time has passed it never goes away.

You may think you have recovered, but then you get a flashback, and it hits you all over again. You fall apart for the hundredth time, and you feel like you want to crawl under a rock and never come out.

You loved them with all your heart, knowing you shouldn't. They hurt you and stole your happiness. But yet, you still want them and only them. Others come along and give you a chance to move on, but you refuse.

It upsets you to move on, because you promised them you would never. And even if they broke all their promises, you still want to keep yours. Better to be alone than be with someone who makes you feel alone

You don’t have to be sad If you are suffering a similar fate; why?, You must move on because you lost someone who didn't love you, but they lost someone who loved them, it’s their loss not yours.

True happiness, true feelings and true people have something in common called "TRUE" and everything "TRUE" comes without chasing. Never chase True friends or True Love, if it is not freely given, it has no value.

"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it". - Proverbs 4:23 (NIV).
