Namibia - Brave Warriors

Makes their second appearance in the African Cup of Nations having played in Burkina Faso in 1998. They were knocked out of the group stages. They topped their group to qualify for Ghana 2008 that included DR Congo, Libya and Ethiopia. The Brave Warriors will be looking to use this tournament as a learning experience and will be one of the weakest teams in this tourney.

The Brave Warriors qualified on the last day by getting a crucial and decisive win against Ethiopia in Addis-Ababa. They are one of the dark horses in the group and will definitely want to give a good account of themselves when they open up with their first match against Morocco in Accra. The star player to look for is Colin Benjamin (Hamburg). He is currently out with an injury and didn't feature in the qualifiers but he is expected back before the tournament.
