Konfi, Kwaw Kesse brawl rages on
New Ghanaian rap duo, Konfi continues to enjoy a run-away success with their hit single 'Like Father Like Son' across the country, and they continue to carry across their allegations that the King of the Street, Kwaw Kesse stole some of their lyrics.
the duo alleged that former camp-mate Kwaw Kesse bit from the flow of a song they performed a while back to Kwaw.
The group made up of Jagoo and Pimp Juice, claim that Kwaw used the rhythm and flow of their song for his Zoomlion campaign track, 'Obul'. Konfi even performed the 'original' song on set, confirming a striking resemblance to 'Obul'.
There seems to be no end to this beef and Konfi has no intentions of stopping.
Although still working on their debut album, the two are confident of winning the 'streets' with their music.
Kwaw Kesse may be the King of the Streets but Konfi is starting a new movement on the streets, hence carving a new genre of music they call 'Street Pop'. certainly these two parties have more in common that just hailing from Swedru!
