Joyce on her knees appologising to Apae A 25-year old lady who accused music producer and pastor Tony Asamoah Boateng of raping her six years ago made a u-turn on Monday when she disclosed that the latter did not rape her after all.

Pastor Boateng, aka Apae Live, who is the brain behind the successful gospel albums of Opiesie Esther is also the Head Pastor of Great Light Worship Centre.

The pastor joined the music industry a few years ago and is the chief executive officer of a record label, No Shaking Record Lable, based in Accra.

The lady, Joyce Delali Darko, who told journalists at the Abrantie Spot in Accra that “Apae Live never raped me as I claimed six years ago”, said she was influenced by a close friend of the pastor who is a footballer, to defame the pastor.

Joyce, now married with two kids, said after the alleged incident she had not known peace and thought the only way to have peace was to confess and plead for forgiveness.

According to her, she and the pastor's friend hatched the plan to disgrace Apae Live because the pastor's friend told her that he did not want his fiancée to associate with the pastor, who he claimed could easily snatch his fiancée from him.

When asked how much she was paid to do that 'job', Joyce answered that she could not trace the pastor's friend after the incident.
