Boyfriend's attempt to send allegedly cheating girlfriend back to village ends in public tussle

A dramatic scene unfolded in Accra when a man's attempt to send his girlfriend back to her village reportedly ended in a heated public confrontation that attracted the attention of passersby and commuters.

According to eyewitness accounts, the man had initially brought the woman from their village to Accra to live with him in hopes of building a future together. However, tensions are said to have developed in the relationship after he allegedly discovered that she was being unfaithful. He also reportedly expressed frustration over what he described as her disrespectful attitude, leading to a breakdown in their relationship.

Determined to end the relationship, the man allegedly made arrangements for the woman to return to her hometown. Witnesses said he escorted her to a bus station and attempted to place her on a vehicle heading back to the village. However, the woman reportedly refused to board the bus, insisting she would not leave.

The disagreement quickly escalated into a public tussle as the pair exchanged heated words in full view of bystanders. In a video circulating on social media, the couple can be seen struggling while attracting the attention of a growing crowd. Some onlookers reportedly attempted to intervene and calm the situation, while others watched as the confrontation unfolded.

Several witnesses said the man repeatedly urged the woman to return home, insisting that their relationship was over. The woman, however, appeared unwilling to leave, leading to a prolonged standoff at the transport terminal.
