Jarvis, a Nigerian content creator and TikToker, has shared her heartbreaking childhood story of being forced to work at a young age.
In a recent TikTok livestream, Jarvis recounted how she did menial jobs to make ends meet and faced hardships, including being robbed at her workplace.
She worked as a salesgirl for several people, and one particular incident stood out. When her boss traveled and left the store in her care, Jarvis was desperate to make good sales. However, she was robbed, and when her boss returned, she was understanding but deducted the money for the stolen goods from Jarvis's salary.
Despite the challenges, Jarvis expressed gratitude towards her former boss, who showed her kindness and understanding after the incident.
Jarvis believes that her early exposure to hard labor may be why she struggles to embrace her femininity. She said, "At a young age, I became a man. Maybe that is why it is so difficult for me to act like a lady."
