Nigerian businessman Simon Guobadia has failed in his attempt to enforce a prenuptial agreement in his ongoing divorce from Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams.
The couple's brief 15-month marriage came to an end when Williams filed for divorce in February 2024. Guobadia argued that he was misled into signing the prenup, claiming that Williams had falsely represented her intention to leave RHOA, a factor he said influenced his decision to agree to the terms.
The contested prenup stipulates that Guobadia must share the equity in his $7 million pre-marital home with Williams and take on substantial debts and expenses for her benefit. His legal efforts to overturn or enforce the agreement have now been dismissed, leaving him liable for significant financial losses.
Guobadia, 61, is currently in Nigeria after being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), an event that caused multiple delays in the court proceedings. Williams, 43, and Guobadia have remained locked in a highly contentious legal battle, with the prenup—signed before their 2022 wedding—at the center of the dispute.
