Gospel singer Evangelist Diana Asamoah has called on the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) to sanction pastors who sell 'sobolo' and other items to church members without proper approval.

In a recent interview on Angel FM, Asamoah expressed concern over the safety and quality of these products, often marketed as spiritual solutions.

The singer urged the FDA to conduct inspections in churches across the country to ensure the products being sold are safe for consumption.

"Some pastors claim to sell sobolo marketed as blood when the FDA has not tested it to prove it would be good for human consumption," Asamoah stated.

Asamoah suggested that pastors interested in selling food items should consult health professionals to conduct medical tests on their members before administering the products.

She cited cases of individuals developing severe health issues, such as diabetes, after consuming items sold by pastors.

The call for regulatory oversight highlights concerns about the safety and accountability of products sold in religious settings. Asamoah's comments have sparked a conversation about the need for stricter regulations and quality control measures in these contexts.

You can clearly see what you believe is wrong with pastors now that your party is in the opposition. Yet you couldn't even speak about Akufo-Addo's corruption that destroyed the nation.

Do you support the GH¢1 fuel levy imposed by government to address the electricity challenges?
