Ghanaian actress Matilda Adjoa Densu, popularly known as AJ Poundz, has shared a harrowing health experience involving an umbilical hernia that nearly cost her life.

According to her account on Zionfelix TV, she was saved just in time by a doctor friend who suspected something was wrong and took immediate steps to examine her.

AJ Poundz recalled how the doctor noticed something unusual during an encounter and decided to investigate further. His findings revealed a serious hernia that required urgent surgery.

"I noticed the doctor looking at me more often. He asked if my navel was big from birth. At that moment, it was out, and the doctor saw it."

"I told the doctor I have given birth to 3 children and the last born was within the last year. He then told me I have a hernia, which I laughed over with my husband because I knew only males have hernias. He told me to lie down so he could check and after checking, he told me I had a hernia and if not treated, I would collapse and die in some weeks to come. He told me my navel was rotten and just hanging there and the only solution was surgery."

She expressed her worry that the condition might prevent her from giving birth again and emphasized the importance of paying attention to unusual bodily symptoms. Her story serves as a powerful reminder that conditions like umbilical hernias, if ignored, can lead to life-threatening complications and often require surgical intervention.

AJ Poundz urged the public not to dismiss discomfort or abnormalities in their bodies and to seek medical attention promptly. Her message is clear: early detection can save lives.
