Kardashian to testify as the court gets ready for high-profile robbery case

Kim Kardashian is preparing to testify in Paris against ten men accused of carrying out a dramatic 2016 robbery in which she was held at gunpoint, tied up with zip ties, and left in a marble bathtub while masked intruders stole more than six million dollars' worth of jewelry.

The reality star is expected to recount the traumatic experience that deeply impacted her and highlighted the dangers celebrities face in the age of social media.

Court officials have described her upcoming appearance as likely to be the most emotionally intense moment in the trial, which began last month. Her presence is drawing significant attention, prompting increased security measures and high public interest. To manage the expected crowd, journalists will be allowed to follow the proceedings via a video feed in a secondary courtroom.

Twelve suspects were initially charged in connection with the heist. Since then, one has died and another has been excused due to serious illness.
