Gospel musician Celestine Donkor and her husband, Kofi Donkor, have pledged to sponsor the education of DJ Awana's two children following his recent passing.
The couple made the announcement during the one-week commemoration of DJ Awana's passing, held in Tema Community 2.
According to Celestine Donkor and her husband, who is also her manager, this gesture is a way of appreciating the late DJ Awana for his support of their music ministry.
The scholarship will cover one child in Junior High School and another in Senior High School.
DJ Awana, a renowned DJ at Multimedia Group Limited, passed away on April 6, 2025, after a short illness.
Despite his passing, his legacy lives on through the admiration and appreciation of his fans and colleagues.
His final funeral rites are scheduled for September 27, 2025.
