Vida Adutwumwa, entertainment analyst and Public Relations Officer for the Bhim Nation music group, has come to the defence of Nigerian actress Bimbo Ademoye, insisting that she is justified in complaining about movie piracy in Ghana.

Speaking during a discussion on United Showbiz, broadcast live on UTV, Vida made a strong case for protecting creators' rights.

She criticised those who make excuses for piracy, arguing that such actions essentially condone the theft of creative work. "She has the right to complain because it's her property and such behaviour must stop," Vida stated.

Vida’s support directly addresses Bimbo Ademoye’s concerns over Ghanaian TV stations airing Nigerian movies without proper authorisation or compensation. Her comments reflected a broader commitment to upholding intellectual property rights and ensuring that creators are not unfairly criticised for demanding protection of their work.

"If someone's property is being stolen, they have every right to speak up," Vida added, reinforcing her belief that creative individuals deserve to have their work respected and safeguarded.
