I’ve been divorced for the past two years – MzGee breaks silence

Renowned showbiz journalist MzGee, born Gloria Akpene Nyarko, has publicly clarified that she is not married, addressing recent reports that mistakenly referred to her as Gloria Akpene Nyarko Acquah.

In a statement shared on social media, MzGee disclosed that she and multimedia journalist Raymond Acquah have been separated for three years and legally divorced for two.

The pair tied the knot in October 2017 in a private traditional ceremony. Though their marriage largely remained out of the spotlight, MzGee felt compelled to clear up misconceptions following the birth of her son.

“I realized that during the conversations and the congratulatory messages, some blogs wrote my name as Gloria Akpene Nyarko Acquah; my name is Gloria Akpene Nyarko. I have no documentation that bears the name Acquah,” she stated.

She further emphasized that she has no connection with her ex-husband and does not want any confusion regarding her son’s paternity.

“I have no business with Raymond Acquah,” she asserted.

With this clarification, MzGee has put any lingering speculation to rest, reaffirming her identity and moving forward on her own terms.
