Shatta Wale didn’t buy me a house, he rented – Mother drops bombshell

Shatta Wale’s mother, Elsie Avemegah, has clarified rumors surrounding her housing situation, revealing that the Ghanaian dancehall star did not buy her a house as widely speculated but only rented an apartment for her for two years.

A viral audio recording circulating on social media has ignited controversy, as Elsie Evelyn Avemegah, mother of Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale, issued a stern warning to media personality and Shatta Wale’s Manager Sammy Flex. In the recording, Mrs. Avemegah demanded an apology and retraction of what she described as "lies" about a house allegedly purchased for her.

In the audio, Mrs. Avemegah is heard emphatically stating: "Sammy Flex! I am calling you to warn you that if you don’t stop this nonsense, I am just on my way to Atiave (a town in the Volta Region), and I will deal with you. You think I am one of those useless old women… Before I get to Atsiavi, if you do not come online and talk to the whole Ghana and remove that thing from social media, you will regret knowing me. You will regret working with my son."

The remarks were accompanied by a three-day ultimatum for Sammy Flex to apologise publicly, with Mrs. Avemegah threatening unspecified actions if he fails to comply.

Sammy Flex, a notable figure in the Ghanaian entertainment industry, has since acknowledged the authenticity of the audio. However, he is yet to issue a detailed response to the allegations or threats.
