Renowned gospel musician Piesie Esther has shared her perspective on the challenges of online criticism, revealing that she refuses to let social media comments affect her.

In an interview on Accra-based 3FM Drive on November 19, Piesie Esther opened up about her approach to dealing with negativity and her determination to stay focused on her career.

Reflecting on the nature of online comments, Piesie Esther expressed her belief that some individuals posting negative remarks are paid to do so with the sole purpose of bringing others down.

“I have realized that some of these people who post the comments on social media have been paid to do what they are doing just to bring you down,” she said.

“Some of the comments, you ask why the person is writing this when you are doing your work and promoting your work,” she added.

Despite the hurtful nature of these online attacks, Piesie Esther says she remains resolute in her decision to ignore them and remain focused on her work.

“So, I don’t see the reason to bother myself and follow such people. I will just let it go and be focused on what I am doing. I will just let it go,” she affirmed.
