Ghanaian rap icon Okyeame Kwame has recently recounted a surprising story from his past.
In an episode of the 30 Questions show hosted by his former duo mate Okyeame Quophi, Okyeame Kwame disclosed how he ended up in a deep kiss with a woman he had never met before while traveling by bus across the U.S.
The intriguing story dates back to 2001, during the early days of his career.
“I was on a Greyhound bus from New York to Columbus, and there was a white girl by my side on the bus,” Okyeame Kwame narrated.
“Then, before we got to Columbus, we had already gone into deep kissing and petting,” he added.
The Faithful hitmaker explained that the experience was spontaneous, and neither he nor the woman exchanged contact information before they parted ways at the end of the journey.
“I didn’t even take her number,” he added. “When we both went off, that was it.”
Known for his contributions to hiplife music and his ability to connect with audiences through personal stories and conscious lyrics, Okyeame Kwame continues to be a beloved figure in Ghana’s entertainment industry.
