Ghanaian gospel musician, Empress Gifty has denied allegation of twerking on stage, insisting that people who meet her and only watch her ‘bum’ (buttocks) have sinned.
The popular gospel musician in recent times has been described as a fashionista by many of her followers on social media.
Addressing a twerking allegation during an interview on GHOne TV on Wednesday, Empress Gifty indicated nothing of that sort has happened, pointing out that people may have mistaken her walking for twerking.
She noted that anyone who watches her buttocks when she is walking has sinned.
“What is twerking? What is walking or shaking your bum? It’s a different thing altogether because I don’t even recall when I twerked on social media. I walk so if I’m walking and you couldn’t see anything from my hair to my toe and you are watching my bum, in fact, you have sinned. Oh yeah, it’s a sin,” Empress Gifty said.
In the interview, Empress Gifty stated that anyone who insults her gift has insulted God.
The talented gospel musician has been in the music industry for a long time and has stayed relevant as one of the top musicians.
She is currently out with a hit single titled, ‘Watch Me’.
