Socialite Ibrahim Dauda, widely known as Ibrah One, has disclosed the reason behind his long-standing feud with Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong.
Speaking in an interview with Kofi TV, Ibrah One revealed that his conflict with the outspoken politician was due to a woman.
He said he accidentally met Mr. Agyapong’s girlfriend.
According to Ibrah, the heated exchanges between the two began after he unknowingly became involved with the politician’s partner.
“I mistakenly touched his woman, that was all. I didn’t know she was his woman. The girl brought herself; I didn’t know. That was the reason why he was ranting,” Ibrah One explained.
The feud between the two men erupted in 2020 when Kennedy Agyapong launched a series of public attacks against Ibrah One, accusing him of money laundering and evading duties on his luxury cars.
In reaction, Ibrah took to social media, boldly challenging the lawmaker and threatening to keep his house gates open for two days to prove he was not afraid of arrest.
Despite the public accusations, Ibrah One insists the real cause of Agyapong’s outbursts was their clash over the woman, whom he only later learned was the MP’s girlfriend.
Ibrah said he became aware of the lady's connection to Agyapong after she spent the night with him and revealed that the politician had been taking care of her, providing her with a place to stay and even bought her a car.
Pained by being labeled as a "small boy" by Agyapong, Ibrah One kept the lady with him for a month, further escalating the tensions between them.
“So I said fine; since I am a small boy, you are not going to see her. So all those days he was ranting, the girl was with me,” Ibrah recounted.
However, the feud seems to have cooled down over time. Ibrah One revealed that he and Agyapong have since reconciled, even meeting at a hotel where the politician paid for his meal.
“I met him after the incident, I think, at Alisa Hotel. He even paid for my food. We are cool; I think he has now gotten it in his mind that women who have made up their minds that they want to play games will always play their game.” Ibrah One stated.
