Ghanaian socialite Afia Schwarzenegger has distanced herself from the ongoing fraud allegations involving popular TikToker Nanaba, clarifying that she has no involvement in his arrest or the accusations against him.
Despite Nanaba having a tattoo of her name on his hand, Afia stressed that she has no personal connection with him.
"If I cared about Nanaba, I would have responded when they called me on Sunday. Before he tattooed my name on his hand, I didn’t know him and had never spoken to him.
“I wouldn’t advise anyone to get a tattoo,” she explained during a TikTok live session in Twi.
Afia emphasized that she never instructed Nanaba to engage in any fraudulent activities or insults, stating that his actions were solely his own doing.
"I have not asked anyone to fight for me. I doubt my name was mentioned in the police case. I am not involved in Nanaba’s conflict with the lady. May I have an accident if I am involved in his fraud allegations,” she clarified.
Nanaba’s arrest was caused by Dr. Sophia Asi Ocansey, CEO of the S.O. Herbal Centre, who accused him of defrauding individuals of significant sums of money
“He defrauded people of large sums of money, some amounts were $10,000 and others $900,000. The victims should reward me because I put in a lot of effort to get him arrested.
“Nanaba has apologized to me multiple times, but I always wonder why he continues to criticize me on TikTok, including making derogatory comments about my private parts and accusing me of using my hospital for rituals,” Dr. Sophia said in a video shared on GhPage TV’s Instagram.
