Renowned Ghanaian music producer, Appiah Dankwah, popularly known as Appietus, has given fans a sneak peek of an upcoming song titled "Breaking the 8," featuring celebrated highlife artist Ofori Amponsah.
The song, which is yet to be officially released, has already generated significant buzz following its brief debut on social media and at the New Patriotic Party (NPP) manifesto launch in Takoradi.
In a video clip shared on Appietus' official Facebook page, Ofori Amponsah is seen passionately singing in Twi, declaring that "Bawumia is coming to rule Ghana." The teaser has quickly caught the attention of political enthusiasts and music lovers alike, with many anticipating the full release.
Appietus, who has a history of producing politically charged anthems, hinted at the song's release in a post that referenced previous hits, including Daddy Lumba's "Nana Ye Winner," which played a significant role in the NPP's previous campaigns.
