In an open letter addressed to his twin brother Paul Okoye, known as Rudeboy, Peter Okoye aka Mr. P questions whether they have achieved more success individually compared to their former group P-Square.
Peter issued the letter on Monday, August 13, in response to numerous interviews where Paul has seemingly taking sole credit for writing and singing majority of P-Square's songs.
"So, my brother, let me ask you: Is Rudeboy or Mr P bigger and more successful than P-SQUARE today?" Peter directly asks.
He referenced numerous interviews where Rudeboy has claimed to have written and sung the majority of P-Square's songs, leaving little credit to Mr. P.
Mr. P pushed back on these claims, saying "Neither of us is the most talented artist in the world, but you fail to understand that God gave us this talent."
He acknowledged both of their talents but emphasized that their success came from their "combined effort - us two!"
Regarding Rudeboy's interviews taking sole credit for songs, Mr. P countered: "You never acknowledged the other songs like 'Get-Squared,' 'Bizzy Body,' 'Personally,' 'Roll It,' 'Temptation,' 'Alingo,' 'More than a Friend,' 'Shekini,' 'Say Your Love,' 'Gimme Dat,' 'Senorita,' 'IGBEdu,' and a few others. Were these songs also considered failures as well?"
