Ghanaian socialite Efia Odo has fired back at rapper Kwesi Arthur, telling him he "gotta be smarter" in response to his accusations of her using him for publicity.
It all started after comments Efia Odo made on a podcast aired Wednesday in which she claimed the rapper hurt her after having a romantic affair with her.
On the 'Rants, Bants and Confessions' podcast, Efia Odo said "Kwesi did some hurtful things to me. I don’t want to say it here because I respect him as a person.
“If I were to say the things he did to me, it would really dirty his image. When everything ended, I stopped the support because why would I keep supporting someone who has f*cked me over?”
She continued: “it’s so funny that when he and I stopped being friends, and he left his label, Ground Up, that’s when his career dwindled and they gave me this tag as a bad luck.”
Following this, Kwesi Arthur went on a tweet storm alleging that Efia Odo routinely brings up his name to generate "clout" and attention for her projects.
However, in a post on X, Efia Odo slammed the rapper, pointing out that Kwesi Arthur ranted about the situation without even watching her full appearance.
“Dumbass ain’t even watch the show now you’re looking goofy exposing yourself. Feeling guilty much?"
“You no watch the thing but ranting cuz of bits and pieces you saw on social media. You gotta be smarter than that," she wrote.
She defiantly declared "I am the CLOUT, fuck you mean" - making it clear that she does not need to ride on anyone for publicity.
