Nigerian afrobeats superstar Burna Boy has surprised fans by announcing that he will be releasing his eighth studio album at midnight.

In a brief post on his official X account, Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, simply stated "Album dropping 12am".

This sent fans into a frenzy as they weren't expecting new music from the artist so soon after the hugely successful release of his previous album "I Told Them I'm A Genius" in August 2023.
