K.K. Fosu responds to criticism over absence from Blogger John Claudes funeral

Veteran Ghanaian musician K.K. Fosu has addressed the criticism directed at him for his absence from the funeral of blogger John Claude Tamakloe.

Speaking on Hit FM, K.K Fosu refuted claims that he had any prior connection to Tamakloe, who tragically passed away in an accident on May 25, 2024.

Fosu clarified that he only became acquainted with Tamakloe on the day of the accident and that Tamakloe was not a member of his team, as some reports had suggested.

The musician expressed frustration over the misconceptions and unrealistic expectations surrounding his involvement in the funeral.

During the interview, an emotional Fosu revealed that he had initially intended to attend Tamakloe's funeral, despite not being in optimal health. However, the misinformation linking him to the accident and the pressure from public speculation led him to withdraw.

Fosu explained that he was invited by a friend to join a vehicle carrying him together with the late blogger , including fellow musician Bless, for a funeral-related event.

The vehicle, which was en route to a performance, was involved in the fatal accident, resulting in Tamakloe's death.

K.K Fosu emphasized that he was unfamiliar with the other individuals in the vehicle apart from Bless.

The accident, which occurred on the Accra-Apam highway, also resulted in injuries to K.K Fosu and Bless, known for his hit song “Chocho Mucho.” Fosu reiterated that he leaves the judgments and criticisms to God, urging people to understand the situation from his perspective.
