Renowned Gospel Artist, Evangelist Edward Kwasi Boateng, has made a passionate appeal to his followers to celebrate him while he's still alive.
He said lavishing resources when he is dead is a complete waste that will not achieve anything.
"My special appeal to all those following my music is to support me while alive. They should not wait for me to die before they appreciate me at my funeral, because I will not see it," he said during a live interview on OTEC 102.9 FM's gospel show, "Adom Ahenwa," on Saturday, June 22, 2024.
Evangelist Boateng expressed his gratitude to those who have been impacted by his ministry but noted that he faces difficulties in getting support for his events and music.
He encouraged Ghanaians to patronize his events and music. He announces an upcoming Thanksgiving and Worship program at Grace Baptist Church in Kumasi, which will also mark his birthday.
The event, featuring renowned gospel musicians, will start at 4pm and is open to all.
Evangelist Boateng urged his followers to come out in their numbers and support him, saying, "I want to feel your presence and support while I'm alive."
