The Models Union of Ghana (MODUGA), in collaboration with Supreme Dynamic Talent Academy (SDTA), has announced the commencement of the first annual Ghana Models Bootcamp & Quiz Contest ‘24, inviting aspiring, beginner and intermediate models to learn a new set of skills and knowledge to help them not only navigate the world of professional modeling but thrive in the industry and secure the bag as skilled modeling practitioners.

Participants in the bootcamp will receive an intensive 2-day training of unlimited information in the areas of industry lingo and information, professional photo shoot poses, brand building, social media management and how to land gigs from your efolio (website & social media).

Other areas to be covered include runway coaching, TV commercial coaching, hair & makeup lesson, agency submission process, audition & casting technique, modeling career guidance and modeling career management from industry professionals such as; advanced models, Model agents and managers, photographers and casting directors.

The Ghana Models Bootcamp & Quiz Contest, now in its first year and the first of its kind in the world, is an opportunity for upcoming models and intermediate models to think outside the box or from various angles and be well-equipped for the job ahead in the industry.

The Quiz contest is an integral part of the event, which aims to help participants discover what knowledge they're confident and less confident in understanding, provide the participants about their current knowledge in modeling and to test the knowledge of the participants progress to be sure they had an effective training during the Bootcamp and also to be too sure that they grasped the much needed knowledge to help them shine in the industry.

This quiz contest is designed to promote enjoyable learning techniques amongst models while also improving overall understanding of career greatness.

The quiz contest consists of several rounds, each encompassing questions from various domains. Participants will have an amount of 5 minutes time to answer each question, and points will be given for correct answers. In case of a wrong answer or if time runs out, the question will be passed to the next team or participant.

At the end of all rounds, the team or participant with the highest score will be declared the winner, there would also be two runner ups as well.

There would be a cash prize, smartphones and other benefits to be won by participants.

Zino Lexili Ogazi, National President of the Models Union of Ghana & Founder of Ghana Models Bootcamp & Quiz Contest, speaking on the upcoming event said "I’m so thrilled as we embark on this lively journey, and delve into the art of preparing for the upcoming riveting, Ghana Models Bootcamp & Quiz Contest ‘24 and I can’t wait to meet the participants, who are the heart and soul of the Ghana Models Bootcamp & Quiz Contest ‘24".

She noted that "The bootcamp is specifically made for serious models who are ready to soar and take their career to the next level, both locally and internationally, while the Quiz contest is a battleground of knowledge, where curious minds meet challenging questions, creates a spectacle that is educational, entertaining and rewarding with lots of amazing prizes to be won".

The deadline for registration is August 30, 2024.
