Toulouse Kente Dinner Dance returns for 3rd edition

The organizers of the Toulouse Kente Dinner Dance revealed that the highly anticipated 3rd edition of the event will take place on August 31st, 2024, at the prestigious Salle du Lac Castanet.

Promising an unforgettable evening of music, dance, and cultural celebration, this year's program aims to bridge the gap between Ghanaian heritage and the Francophone community in France.

The electrifying Nkyimkyim band and Ntakra band are set to headline the event, guaranteeing an immersive experience into the vibrant rhythms and melodies of Ghanaian music.

Speaking on behalf of the organizing team, member of the event organizers, Nana Kwabena Frimpong, expressed his excitement, stating, "Our main aim is to introduce the rich cultural heritage of Ghana to the Francophones in France.

Through music, dance, and traditional attire like the colorful Kente cloth, we hope to foster greater cultural exchange and understanding."

The Toulouse Kente Dinner Dance program is being organized by the Nananom Traditional Council of Toulouse, highlighting the collaborative effort to showcase the cultural diversity and richness of Ghana.
