Actor Drogba of hit TV series YOLO seeks public support for demyelinating disease treatment

John Bredu Peasah, popularly known by his character name Drogba from the hit Ghanaian TV series YOLO, has made a public appeal for financial support as he battles a lifelong demyelinating disease.

In a statement shared on his social media handles, the actor revealed that he was diagnosed with a demyelinating disease over two years ago.

According to the notice, he has been undergoing treatment since but the costs have placed a huge financial burden on him and his family.

Demyelinating diseases disrupt the central nervous system and can cause problems with muscle control, sensation, and other neurological functions depending on the damaged areas.

There is no known cure for most demyelinating conditions, but early diagnosis and effective treatment plans can help manage symptoms and progression.
