In a statement shared on his social media handles, the actor revealed that he was diagnosed with a demyelinating disease over two years ago.
According to the notice, he has been undergoing treatment since but the costs have placed a huge financial burden on him and his family.
Demyelinating diseases disrupt the central nervous system and can cause problems with muscle control, sensation, and other neurological functions depending on the damaged areas.
There is no known cure for most demyelinating conditions, but early diagnosis and effective treatment plans can help manage symptoms and progression.
