Former Miss Universe Ghana titleholder Krystle Awurama Simpson has unveiled plans to create over 50,000 jobs in Ghana through her new business process outsourcing (BPO) company.
Awurama Simpson, who held the Miss Universe Ghana title in 2010, launched Premium Logistics Ghana as a branch of his numerous business ventures.
The company provides outsourced business services such as customer service, accounting, and human resources to clients in the United States and Europe.
In a statement seen by this portal, Awurama Simpson said Premium Logistics aims "to create over 50,000 job opportunities for outsourced agents in Ghana, fueling employment growth."
It added that the company's cloud-based call center will harness Ghana's skilled, English-speaking workforce to deliver "exceptional, customized Business Process Management solutions" to international clients.
In addition to her BPO venture, the former beauty queen is expanding into real estate and tourism through her company Luxury Travel Ghana and Real Estate.
This arm of her business portfolio offers luxury travel packages and property investments linking the United States, Europe and Ghana.
Premium Logistics Ghana and Luxury Travel Ghana have ramped up hiring in recent months.
