Ghanaian rapper Kwame Nsia Apau, known widely as Okyeame Kwame has opined on infidelity in relationships.

The singer said he would increase the love he has for his wife for the rest of his life if she confesses to him after cheating.

Speaking on Accra-based Starr FM’s Star Chat with Bola Ray, the famed rapper explained that people who sleep with another people outside relationship and still keep it to themselves only cheat on themselves and not their partner.

He further noted that there is no way he will feel bad or harm himself over a cheating partner.

In his words: “You can't cheat on your spouse, you cheat on yourself. If a person is really enlightened and that person has fallen in love with himself, he doesn't need your relationship, attachment or co-dependency for him to identify himself as pure.

“You can't cheat on that person, you cheat on yourself. If my wife cheat on me, I will not take it personal because she has cheated on herself out of my trust, out of my respect for her and now I see her as Ashawo[prostitute]. For me to go out there and drink poison or jump something to kill myself, it will not happen.

“But if my wife should tell me that maybe she was doing some project somewhere and she saw a certain guy and liked him, started kissing and had sex with him, I would increase my love for her and love her for the rest of my life.”
