Ghanaian DJ and singer DJ Azonto has expressed his willingness to license his chart-topping song "Fa No Fom" to the two major political parties, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC), for use in their 2024 election campaigns.
In an interview with Cape Coast-based Property FM, DJ Azonto said he hopes either party will purchase the rights to use the song, which has seen immense popularity since its release in 2022.
"I want to make it public that I will be glad if NPP or NDC use Fa No Fom for their campaign and give me money because most of their people have already been using it," DJ Azonto stated.
He explained that the funds from such a deal would allow him to purchase a luxury home at East Legon and also buy a vehicle for his mother.
“I will use NPP or NDC money to buy my mother a Lamborghini and a house at East Legon because my song is perfect for any candidate who falls bottom on the ballot paper," the artiste noted.
Released in 2022, "Fa No Fom" has been a breakout hit for DJ Azonto, winning numerous accolades including Best Song of the Year at the Ghana DJ Awards and Africa Spotlight Artiste of the Year at the Ghana Entertainment/Choice Awards.
