Gospel singer Esther Smith has directly responded to criticism from entertainment pundit Mr Logic over her long absence from Ghana's music industry.

In a post on social media, Esther Smith wrote to Mr Logic: "You are absolutely right! I agree with you and my fans about 'starving' Ghanaians."

This was in response to comments Mr Logic made expressing "utmost disappointment" at Esther Smith, saying “I wish I could say it to her face” and that he was "so disappointed to an extent".

Mr Logic stated on UTV’s United showbiz: "I am so disappointed in that woman. I am so disappointed in Esther Smith. I am so disappointed in Esther Smith...This is a lady I don't know why she disappeared.”

However, Esther Smith revealed her disappearance was due to "personal circumstances that was beyond my control", requiring her to relocate from Ghana to seek medical assistance for her son's condition abroad.

In her message to Mr Logic, the singer assured: "You and my fans will see me in person very, very soon.”

The conversation comes amid debate concerning who among the Ghanaian gospel singers can be tipped as the ‘Greatest Of All Time’ (GOAT)—which Mr. Logic tipped Esther Smith.
