Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay has thanked God and expressed gratitude to her supporters after her car accident.
In a social media post on Wednesday, September 20, Wendy Shay said she is recovering thanks to the special grace of God, the love from her family and friends who prayed for her recovery.
She noted, "I'm alive by God's grace. Thank you to God, my family, team and fans for their prayers and support."
Wendy Shay observed that some people only show care when their friends are dead.
She referred to lyrics from a song she recorded days before the crash about true love that has taken a different meaning in this modern day.
Wendy expressed gratitude to celebrities like Shatta Wale, Lasmid and King Promise who checked on her health after the accident when support was most needed.
